Cater 2 Events and their outstanding staff hit more than a home run when they catered my daughter's wedding at The Foundry Golf Club in Powhatan in September! NEVER have I attended any wedding with approximately 200 guests where the food tasted as fantastic as it did in our pre-wedding tasting. Not only was the food fresh and savory, but the presentation was over-the-top beautiful.

We cannot thank Cater 2 Events enough for their part in our daughter’s wedding. Even though we had to plan, replan, and plan again they were there every step of the way.
Lona and Gill make a great team and were a pleasure to work with, Lisa too! We expected a sampling at our tasting but we got a meal! The day of the event was seamless; the food was delicious, service and staff was impeccable, every thing went as planned, and clean up was thorough and swift. They responded to many, many questions, calls, and emails promptly while offering helpful advice and tips along the way. Lona even stepped in at the last minute to fluff the bride’s dress!
I could go on and on… Bottom line - save yourself the time and look no further than C2E! You will not be disappointed!

The food and catering staff were supreme! We had compliments from the moment we walked in to the venue.
All the appetizers were excellent and the sweet potato ham biscuits were pillows of deliciousness! I personally had the Beef Tenderloin and a Veggie Pot Pie. The Tenderloin could not have been any better…tender and perfectly seasoned. The Pot Pies were also amazing. Everyone that tried them raved about them. Again great job.
The staff at the bar, the buffet, and cleanup were amazing. They were courteous, professional and efficient. At the end of the reception, we loaded the car with the leftover beer and wine and when we returned the table and chairs were all put away, returned to their respective homes, and staff was sweeping up. This was all within 45 minutes of the newlyweds departure. Incredibly efficient!
I’ve used a lot superlatives, but C2E deserves every one. We would highly recommend C2E to any and everyone in the RVA area. If you’re looking for a caterer who delivers delicious food, happiness, professionalism, and extreme satisfaction, Cater 2 Events is for you!
From start to finish, Cater 2 Events was 100% present. Their professionalism was stellar, and the food was scrumptious. The set up was beautiful and matched the wedding theme perfectly. The owners and staff made our night perfect.
